BIOGRAPHY

My name is Alagie Gaye, I am a Gambian nationalist 23 years old am from an extended family my father pass away 2 years ago may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. My mother is my best friend she is a business woman. I have 3 sisters with 6 brothers. I study science in high school and graduated with 9 credits including mathematics and English language. Up on completion of high school, I work as a trainee laboratory technician at the Medical Research Council MRC Unit The Gambia. During my training I build outstanding skills and experience in the laboratory. I did phlebotomist training course and was certified as a competent phlebotomist. However, I was working as a part time receptionist at Moon Light Apartment after one year later, I join Nero Bar and restaurant working as a part time assistant receptionist. The little experience I got from the tourist industry inspired me to build an interest in pursuing a career in the tourism industry. Presently I am on my career objectives. And one of my main objective is made possible for me by the dynamic Austrian Development Agency ADA through scholarship which give me the chance today in pursuing a Diploma in Tourism Management in ITH.  My Extra-curricular activities include Red Cross Volunteer and football flange player. I am friendly, respectful, kind  and hardworking I believed in myself.
